Abstract
  • The health service reforms of the 1990s have put special emphasis on making services more sensitive and responsive to users. This report looks at the work of four health authorities which have a history of activity on race issues and where there is a clear commitment to improving their services through the active participation of users in standard setting and monitoring outcomes. The report includes examples of the four health authorities' standards and specifications.
