Abstract
  • This paper was prepared in November 1962 for the Management Committee of the Mid Herts Hospital Group to give guidance on the operational policy for the new Queen Elizabeth II Hospital. Although much of the detail in the policy will only apply to this particular hospital, the general principles would apply to any new hospital and in many cases to catering departments being upgraded.
