  • Managers may not be covered by the codes of practice of doctors and nurses but they are having to consider the ethical framework within which they work. This book examines ethical issues in a practical manner. It covers a wide field of concern to managers with responsibilities they have to the public at large and to health service staff. The limits of conscientious objection are explored as is the ethical basis for equal opportunities. There are chapters covering research, the law and administrative practice.
